I see your photo now and I understand the expressions on the 2 outer people’s faces because they are wearing funeral attire. Somehow some stranger managed to squeeze in between them. It’s a very sad photo that even when you are in mourning you have to be squeezed and jammed on Tokyo trains without any respect for your loss. That’s life in Tokyo. I did it myself late last year after Jun’s grandfather’s funeral. It really shows the washing machine of our life here.
